BOOKKEEPER/OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Hours: Monday to Friday 25-40 hours/week
Hourly/Salary: Based on experience
Location: Cambridge, ON / Work from Home

As Bookkeeper/Operations Assistant, your initiative, knowledge, and experience will compliment our dedicated and passionate team. You will act as a resourceful assistant to our accounting and management teams. In this role, you will work on a range of activities from processing accounts payables and receivables, preparing reports for property owners and managers, and quickly become involved in other day-to-day operations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Responsible for processing AP/AR and disbursing payments to clients while improving overall accounting efficiencies.

Prepare and send electronic communications and monthly reports to property owners, update property accounts/contracts, and keep clients apprised of their investments.

Be a trusted advisor to our accounting personnel and coordinate directly with our Operations Manager to creatively implement plans that align with our corporate goals for driving growth and adoption of Y Property Management Services.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years working in accounts payable and accounts receivable and office administration, property management experience is an asset.

TECHNICAL: Superior software skills in electronic email, Microsoft Office, ticketing systems. Working with Quickbooks, Yardi, WiX, and Google suite of applications is an asset.
